Lessons and Riding
We currently have two competitive teams: Huntseat and Dressage. Explore below to learn more about our awesome coaches.
HUNTSEAT
Step-n-Free Stables
This season we are pleased to welcome Victoria Free as our hunt seat coach! Her expertise and experience in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings will make her an incredible addition to our team. We will also be joined by Paige Harvey as assistant hunt seat coach.
Step-N-Free Stables is located in Fayetteville, GA, approximately 30 minutes south of campus.
Hunt seat lessons are arranged by contacting us. Group lessons and carpools can easily be arranged through our internal Google Doc.
DRESSAGE
Leah Marks
We are excited to welcome Leah as our coach for the dressage team. She has years of experience as both a rider and a trainer. Her guidance will be a vital asset to our new team.
Ellenwood Equestrian Center is located in Ellenwood, GA, about thirty minutes east of campus.
Dressage lessons can be scheduled by contacting us. Group lessons are highly encouraged and carpools can be arranged.
WESTERN
Coming Soon!
We are currently in the process of selecting a new Western Coach with the availability to travel with us to shows.
LESSON REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible to show, each team member must participate in a minimum number of lessons per month. These lessons must be taken with the GTEC coaches and must be recorded at that trainer's barn in a lessons log.
